My management background
Starting in the year 2003, Bertelsmann was selected to be the first customer for the Falcon 2000ExEasy. This was the start of my Entry Into Service project with Dassault, where I was able to develop a very close working relationship with the manufacturer. While building this project, Bertelsmann acquired two Falcon 2000ExEasy, whereby I was responsible for getting the new aircraft ready for daily business. Starting in the year 2007, I was promoted to be the chief pilot of Bertelsmann AG. We quickly applied for our own Part145 Maintenance license, where I was assigned as Accountable Manager.
The project continued in 2010 when we created an AOC team including a CAMO where I also took the role of Accountable Manager. During the initial project phase, I held the function of Nominated Person Flight Operations, as well as being the deputy Nominated Person for Crew Training. During the AOC process, we established a special operations company, called Bertelsmann Aviation GmbH where I assumed the position of managing Director.
